Description:

RIO RANCHO COMMUNITY LEADERS, LOCAL RESIDENTS TO GATHER FOR RIBBON- CUTTING OF LARGER NEW FACILITY TO HELP INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES

On Thursday, April 27th, Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull and a representative from Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry’s office will be gathering with the local community for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the expanded new location of LifeROOTS – the not-for-profit organization providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. The opening of this expanded new Rio Rancho LifeROOTS facility is important news for many families throughout the Rio Rancho area – who will have access to many additional programs and services to help individuals with disabilities thrive.

The ribbon-cutting will provide local families and the community with a first-look at this important new resource in Rio Rancho, and enable them to learn more about how LifeROOTS has been helping individuals with disabilities through their Children’s Therapy and Services, Adults Services and Business Contracts program – which helps individuals with disabilities secure jobs throughout the community. In addition, due to the success of LifeROOTS’ Pi(e) Day Event at their Albuquerque location (held on National Pi Day in March), the event will also provide an opportunity for the community to “Throw a Pie in the Face of Management” in Rio Rancho …

and participate in one of the region’s most unique fundraisers!
