Angel Fire has New Mexico’s First and Only Zipline Tour

Zoom hundreds of feet above the forest floor as you take in the splendor of the stunning mountain and valley views like never before!  Angel Fire Resort features a one of a kind Rocky Mountain Zipline Adventure Tour that takes guests on a station to station treetop adventure through a series of multiple zipline segments varying from 120 to 1,600 feet.

This high adventure experience takes off at the 10,677 foot summit of the Aqua Fria peak (otherwise known as Angel Fire Ski Mountain) and proceeds around the mountaintop through the various zipline segments including a signature peak-to-peak Rapid Transit Dual line, which is simultaneously the longest (1,600 feet) and highest (50 stories off the ground) of the tour. This dual segment parallel zip allows family and friends to zip side-by-side together. In between zipline segments, there are short 5-10 minute scenic nature hikes.

The zipline season in Angel Fire kicked off mid-May and soars beyond Fall Colors into mid-October.  Normal operations are 8am to 2pm, concurrent with the chairlift operations schedule.  Select weekends during peak season have extended hours of 7am to 2pm.  The cost is $129 plus tax per person, and includes tour accompaniment by certified guides, training and all required safety equipment.  Advance reservations are strongly encouraged, but individual reservations and walk-ins are accepted during normal operations, based upon availability.  The standard tour size is 8 people; discounts are available for groups of 16 or more.  Stay with us and save even more!  Our popular Stay & Zip combo package starts out at $159 per person/per night based upon double occupancy, and includes one night in the slopeside Lodge and two individual zipline tours.  This package must be booked in advance, please visit angelfireresort.com for further details.

Requirements include shirts, closed-toe shoes, and a signed waiver by participants 18 years and older or parent/guardian for participants 17 years and younger.  Weight restrictions are minimum 90 pounds to maximum 270 pounds. For additional information or reservations, please visit angelfireresort.com/zipline or call 575-377-4320.
