Stop the Clog Before It Starts

May 07, 2013 10:27AM, Published by Scott Blackwell, Categories: Shopping, Home

From the ounce-of-prevention department comes a simple little device that keeps homeowners away from caustic chemicals and expensive plumbers.

The Clog Catcher is little more than a small bottle brush bent into a circle. The device comes in two sizes so they fit on sinks and bathtubs. Just snap into place around your pop-up drain lid and let it grab what otherwise might end up as a clog.

Once or twice a month, remove the Clog Catcher and pull the debris off its bristles; it's much like cleaning a hair brush.

The Clog Catchers come in four-packs only for $10, available at clogcatcher.com
