A breeze for the outdoors

Many of Kichler's fans are designed to be used on patios and other potentially wet locations.

Ceiling fans have long been known to help with heating and cooling bills. But a Cleveland company is taking the fixtures to another level.

Some of Kichler’s latest releases include DC motors about 70 percent more energy efficient than their AC counterparts. And just in time for summer, the company offers several fans rated for patios and other potentially wet locations.

We found the Harbour Walk model, about $550, a perfect addition to the patio – a welcomed breeze on still, warm evenings.

The blades on Kichler’s outdoor/indoor models are all-weather ABS and reversible, so you can find the right shade and color. For this model, three shades of walnut, as well as cherry, are available.

Metal finishes include Tannery Bronze, weathered copper or galvanized steel. Integrated lighting is supplied through four efficient halogen 40-watt bulbs. The package includes a battery-operated remote control.

Kichler products are sold by lighting retailers throughout NM. For the nearest dealer, visit
